Is there a way to make personal web sharing work over the internet? i know it is apache, so is there a way to make it work? i have broadband, with a router that uses NAT...

Any ideas?

Personal web sharing already does. The IP address that the computer supplies to you only seems to work on the network you're on in my experience. Go to a website like http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/ and obtain the IP address you get. Then, paste it into a browser window (including the http:// and the ending /) and you should get your site up (if it's a user home folder, don't forget to add ~user/). For clarity, see if a friend can get it up as well.

If that's all good, then you may want to get it registered by a free domain director, such as http://www.freedomain.co.nr/ which will divert visitors to your site and some can even cloak the IP address. Good luck.

you will need to setup port forwading most likely to forward port 80 to your system from the router
