Yes.

How is that for a quick answer? Otherwise I'm a little  as to what you are asking.

Why wouldn't you be able to?

You're more or less asking: Do Mac apps work on Macs?

Will my existing apps from my Powerbook (powerpc) run on the new macbook pro machines?

Of course you can.

Intel macs can run all mac apps - but any mac apps that aren't "Universal" (optimised for the new intel processors) will run a bit slower because the mac has to emulate the older style processor to run them.

Can you run mac software on an intel mac?Universal apps - Yes
PPC (old) apps - Yes, but a bit slower

Yes.

Yes, but they will be emulated under Rosetta and not as fast as intel apps.

Don't listen to them, they're all lying. You are required to go out and purchase a new Macpower Dell Pro Book to enable said applications. Shame. But that's how the buggers will suck you dry huh!

Oh fine, do what they said.
