OneButton FTP - http://www.onebutton.org/
Its not universal but for a simple FTP program that won't make much difference.

Transmit has my vote. It's quick and easy to use.

You should be able to find a trial version on VT

Cyberduck rocks ...

Personally, I thought Transmit was crap.

Fugu (Fugu Home Page (http://rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/)) is also a universal binary. I used fugu for a while before cyberduck had a tiger compatible version.

I have recently stopped using ftp in favour of TextWranglers 'Open from FTP' function, very useful if you are a Gaussian user like myself :)

I use Transmit and love it. Definitely worth the small price.

Fugu and Cyberduck are ok.
