Pushing shit uphill?

It shows up when i do ifconfig -a but am unable to get it going. Its been detected, but no light is flashing, and we cant connect to the network.

Anyone been successful with this? :ph34r:

Yes I have but I used a Belkin PCMCIA card after finding that a Netgear one wouldn't work. The Belkin worked out of the box.

that is on an x86 laptop though; you are using a G3 and thus the PowerPC port of Ubuntu??

There are no open source drivers for the chipset that Apple used in the airport. The card is manufactured by broadcom.
