New iChat AV icons for .Mac members only (http://www.mac.com/web/en/Blog/5CF39A5E-149F-429C-BD85-826BB69050A5.html)
If you've never played around with iChat AV you may not have discovered how easily you can switch among icons when you use the application. Apple has created a page that explains how it works and, as long as you're a .Mac member (http://www.mac.com), lets you download some distinctive icons to play with. You can use what you download as long as you like, but Apple will only offer some of the sets for a limited time. Until June 1, 2006 to be precise.

I use iChat but my older brother is very busy, too busy to organize iChat :(

I will have to wait till he has a little more success.

No only can you use iChat to talk to your MSN contacts through Jabber, but the Jabber Australia (http://www.jabber.org.au/) MSN transport (http://www.jabber.org.au/transports/) supports icons/avatars/display pictures between compatible clientsóincluding iChat and MSN Messenger.

I'm currently using iChat to talk to people on the following networks: AIM/.Mac, Jabber (including GoogleTalk), and MSN. There are also transports available for other services, including ICQ and Yahoo! Messenger.

For instructions on setting up Jabber on iChat (including connecting to the MSN Messenger network), have a look at: http://www.jabber.org.au/ichat.
