I don't mean to be a pest, but I think I have been wording my question incorrectly and as a result can't get the simple answer that makes sense to the simple mind. I will try again:
If I plug the broadband modem we get from telstra, into a wireless router (eg dlink) Will BOTH my ibook (802.11b -airport) and my housemates PC laptop (802.11g I think) be able to run internet (preferably at the same time)?
I understand the speed difference
I got a response previously from MarkH, who suggested an airport base station, but I suppose the thing holding me back from that is the cost difference, and then will it work alright with the PC?
