The sidebar icons on my rMBP are blue generic folders with a hard to see icon embedded. This is running OSX 10.3 but I am currently setting up an imac I purchased for a friend and the icons in the side bar are grey stylised icons. Both are 10.3 why is this. How do I get the sidebar icons on my MBP to also be the grey icons instead of the generic folder?

thanks

Hi, both of these are running the latest version of yosemite. I don't understand how this can be possible.

OK I have tracked down the culprit. It was cDock which I used to get my dock background transparent. Not sure why it borked my sidebar. I didn't notice till I set up a new mac.

I wrote a reply this morning and didn't post it for some reason. Glad you found out what it was. Shame it messed with your shit. Did you file a bug report with the developer by any chance?
