Hi folks!

I'm after some advice on what to do for mobile data whilst travelling

I have a 5S, and a plan with NZ Vodafone through work. Heading initially to the UK for 3 weeks (family re-union whoop!) The Vodafone data roaming bundles are ridiculously expensive - NZ$50 for 200 mb. Would it be worth grabbing a prepay SIM in the UK? (Done that in Australia the last few times we've visited - chewed through mobile 2 GB plans in 2-3 weeks easy).

Also heading on a cruise ship (OMG can't wait!) and have NO idea what to do in that regard. Rely on ship wifi? Dunno! (Ship is stopping at ports around Europe - so a solution that is Europe wide would be ideal so that we can use mobile data whilst off the ship).

Oh so difficult eh? Most grateful for any ideas or suggestions from those more knowledgeable (and travelled!) than me!

Many thanks in advance! :-)

In USA you can't beat Straight Talk. Get the SIM from Wallmart.

UK when I was there a year ago, T-Mobile had a reasonable pre-pay. USA both AT&T and T-Mobile offer prepay for iphones now.
