Hi,

Since upgrading to 10.8.5 I can reproduce a kernel panic with a 3rd Party Hardware driver. I rang the offices of the company to get the technical support email address and have forwarded the kernel panics to the company as well as clicking the report button to send them to apple.

Question is: I have had no response from the companies technical support email addy and am wondering if Apple takes any action considering it is a 3rd party problem. Would reproducing the kernel panic, say a 100 times, make any difference?

Probably not.

I'm not sure what Apple would do in this instance seeing as the problem is caused by third party hardware. You could file a bug report, but that's about it I believe.
