'A blast of yesterday with an unapologetically plastic design'

The PowerBook Retina G5C in a multitude of colours sounds truly innovative, my credit card is at the ready :)

The 27" monitor is well overdue for an upgrade. Hope its included.

I'll be up. I'm practically nocturnal now anyway.

I doubt they'll revisit the Mac Pro in this presentation as it'll be all about iPads and some of their more consumer oriented computers.

They did say they have a lot to cover, but if they announce a retina Cinema Display I don't know why they'd want to cover it! :P

There were suggestions of newer covers for the iPads , e.g. keyboard covers… Apple will get blasted for ripping off Microsoft.

A part of me dies (laughing?) every time I see someone using a tablet with a detachable keyboard...

If Apple releases one I'll go so far as to pull out an "Apple is doomed" for the very first time!

iPad Air? Who saw that coming?

I guess the iPad range will get TouchID and Gold option next year.

One thing I'm happy to see, new 13" rMBP can accommodate 16 GB RAM.

Yeah, but still comes with a shockingly low 4 Gb in the base config!

I don't think 4 GB in the entry 13" is poor. If you want or need more, you can upgrade to 8 or 16.

Now I just have to wait for $101 discount on Black Friday.

EDIT: Just saw the iPad mini now has a 128 GB option.

True, but let's not forget that these are self-styled "Pro" machines, that the RAM cannot be upgraded later and that 4 Gb has been a base amount for what seems like forever.

I agree 4GB is pretty bad… but not like they've done it before… 2GB stayed around for way too long.

I think the best thing is they've kept the iPad 2 :D (Longer support with updates for me :D :D ) however they've also put the price up on it. Price on new mini ,and iPad air are too high.

Also sad they didn't upgrade the standard Macbook Pro. The Macbook Pro Retina seems to be just as expensive for us and 128 GB isn't much storage.

Happy that iWork and iLife for Mac have finally be unpadded… but the screenshot from the upgraded iMovie looks strange….

iPad and iPhone are now updating to 7.0.3

Mac is downloading Mavericks… I wasn't going to get it but the fact its free is a bonus :D

Looks like we can't order online till 1st November ... Sigh ! Can't wait to get my hands on a new iPad Air! Maybe I'll have to go queue up (which I've never done before!)
