Well I just got Battery Health for my Macbook pro 13 inch. I bought the computer 1 week ago and it says that battery is at 89% health with 13 charge cycles. That is worse than on my White Macbook. It had 420 cycles and 93 percent health. What is going on here? It does however say that the battery is 4.2 months old.....

Have you done a recalibration Oldmacs ?
Let it run down until the machine automatically sleeps, then recharge and see what it says.

I have done that twice.... I'm wondering if because it is the new model (Mid 2012) that the application is not reading properly?
I know SMC fan control does't work with this model.

What does it say in System Report?

Mine's saying it's at 88.5% health, yet I barely get more than an hour from the battery. It is getting on though (the app says it's 3.9 years old).

Maybe it's running something all the time and is heavy on the juice? Perhaps I'll do a fresh OSX reinstall :)
