Perhaps rememberingsteve@apple.com would be a good address to register your displeasure? I'd recommend waiting until After the 14th to register that displeasure...

I really don't think that's appropriate...

Depending upon what happens tomorrow, I think it's entirely appropriate or entirely inappropriate.

Would SJ want to screw over thousands of loyal pre-orderers by misleading and insulting them? Perhaps a reminder of Steve is what they need.

Leave Steve out of this, as much as I think that the world wide response to his death is completely over the top to the point where it's a bit pathetic, thats my personal opinion and has nothing to do with if we get our phones tomorrow or not!

Fact is that Steve Jobs haven't run the daily life at Apple since early January this year, he pretty much has nothing to with the Iphone 4S so we wouldn't know what Steve would have done or not.. its pointless! keep tracking your reference numbers instead ;)

Steve's already out of this. It's not about SJ, it's about the way Apple conducts themselves. Misleading & deceptive conduct is not a good way to start post SJ and a response to that conduct needs to be communicated effectively.

Misleading and Deceptive conduct?

Where the hell did they ever say that you were ordering for it to arrive tomorrow? Hm?

All it ever said, was 'Ships by' the 14th, and guess what, it did!

Also, you're mad if you think Steve Jobs would have done anything differently. Ignoring the fact that this really isn't the CEO's job, the fact is there are a certain number of phones Apple has and can make and they need to be allocated in the most efficient way, and chances are this meant that their largest markets (namely the USA) were prioritised.

Lastly I think you need to take a good hard look at yourself when you're talking about spamming the remembrances email of a dead man because you have to wait a couple of days for your phone that you were never even promised would arrive tomorrow.

I don't need to guess. It didn't.
A. It has for most people here.
B. 'by the 14th' includes the 14th.

• after a noun denoting an action: further attacks by the mob | a clear decision by the electorate.
• identifying the author of a text, idea, or work of art: a book by Ernest Hemingway.
2 [ often with verbal noun ] indicating the means of achieving something: malaria can be controlled by attacking the parasite | they plan to provide further working capital by means of borrowing.

7 concerning; according to: anything you do is all right by me | she had done her duty by him.

I called TNT (yes I really did, at 1am in the morning), and the guy I spoke to said that it's still in Shenzen, and that while it's been electronically lodged in Sydney, it hasn't arrived yet, i.e. they're expecting it.

So, unless they're on the plane on the way here, and TNT works their butts off tomorrow, the chances of delivery tomorrow are slim.

Fingers crossed though.

These people seem work all the time. Every shipment I've had the activity hasn't stopped over night or anything. Based on past shipments the only thing is that it seems that their drivers are only out between 8/9 and 5 during weekdays, but the whole back-end seems to run pretty much non-stop, at least on weekdays (hell, our shipments are on their way overseas and it's midnight!).

I, on the other hand, need to sleep.

If they are on there way to Hong Kong to catch a flight (as the tracking suggest) in the next hour we have the following Australian bound flights; (all local arrival times)

QF68 to Perth arrives to Perth at 705am
CX105 to Adelaide arrives at 1045am
CX103 to Brisbane, arrives at 1015am
CX101 to Sydney arrives at 1230am

The electronic lodgements suggests they are all going to Sydney, but as someone in Perth, get it on QF68, I will meet it at the airport!! My guess they will be on CX101, get split in Sydney, maybe some very lucky Sydney people will get it tomorrow evening, the rest will be transferred to local depots over the weekend for deliveries from Monday

---------- Post added at 11:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:03 PM ----------

Just noticed that the last scan I had was 915.

CX161 to Sydney was scheduled to depart at 930, but left 14 min late. Maybe this is our plane!! Arrives in Sydney at 10:10am.

That was pointless!

Just called TNT - they show that my consignment is "lodged" in Australia, but has not *arrived* in Australia. It is still en route. The details from their website state:

Date Time Location Status
13 Oct 2011 21:14:00 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
13 Oct 2011 20:26:33 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
13 Oct 2011 18:11:12 Shenzhen Shipment Collected From Sender.

Given that it's at least a 9 hour flight, and the timezones above are likely local to the origination point, I won't be skiving off work today...

The very nice operator did tell me that "they usually text you the morning they'll deliver" .. they do have my mobile number, but, I'm not holding out for that SMS. I'll keep refreshing the screen...

Apple generally treats everything as local to Cupertino time, with Australia *behind* Apple, not ahead. Shipping by the 14th was more for their primary audience in the US and Europe. I don't expect to see my 4S until early next week.

I have the same, Shenzen to Hong Kong package status.

For comparison, this is what happened last time I had an Apple package go through Shenzen and Hong Kong:

01 Aug 2011 07:03:23 Adelaide Out For Delivery.
01 Aug 2011 06:27:21 Adelaide Shipment Received At Destination Depot.

28 Jul 2011 10:43:23 Hong Kong Shipment In Transit.
28 Jul 2011 01:29:14 Hong Kong Shipment Received At Transit Point.
27 Jul 2011 22:39:00 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
27 Jul 2011 22:37:39 Shenzhen Shipment In Transit.
27 Jul 2011 20:14:13 Shenzhen Shipment Collected From Sender.

Note that 27 Jul was a Wednesday, and 1 August was a Monday, so given that ours iPhones left Shenzen on Thursday, I'm expecting Tuesday.

Apple have clearly avoided the cost and complexity of pre-loading the supply chain and replaced it with late shipment from China to avoid disrupting their queues and cutting over any telco agreements in place. It certainly devalues the pre-order process doesn't it. Is this another byproduct of market dominance? Fanbois are becoming less relevant all the time.

Apple are definitely on the nose with me today, also iPad crashing constantly on iOS 5 and can't put Lion on my mini even though its a core2 :(
Almost makes me feel better about working for their competitor.

I'm royally pissed off. Indeed, first world problems, but I think the mindset associated with pre-ordering is that the goods will be available to all those participating in pre-orders on the day of launch.

Being a die hard Apple fan and having laid down the cash for an iPhone 4S a week ago only to find out I'll be spending my weekend wondering why I didn't just line up is very disappointing.

So pretty much the same as most others I assume. Im pretty sure they will arrive in Sydney either around mid day or afternoon, but I don't see our chances of actually getting them delivered very big, and then because of the weekend, people won't touch and pack them before Monday which makes delivery Tuesday happen... annoyingly enough I happen to have the day off so could actually be home to meet the TNT guy... now not so much!

So my listed receive date is the 27th but I have the same status (Hong Kong) as the 18th people. Does this mean they are going to hold my phone in a warehouse for two weeks? I think not. Looks like I might get mine a little earlier. Still doesn't excuse their balls up of not delivering on launch day. Yeah I know about the whole ships by the 14th but that is a farce too.

I think the most annoying thing is that we put faith in the fact that they would come through..and deliver on release day as they always have in the past. We are the diehards, their longstanding customers, who pretty much buy every new thing they release..it's now taken for granted and we are the poor suckers sitting here feeling let down. To add to this, we have no comeback, if we ring and complain they can stand behind the fact that it has always said, ships by the 14th... I am so angry!! I would have lined up ffs, if I had've thought this would happen. I guess we live and learn.. :(

How can they stand by the fact it always said by the 14th when we didn't know that before pre-ordering?! We ordered because they usually ship to us for a release day arrival, thats why people are annoyed .

My latest updates looks like this:

So pretty much the same as most others I assume. Im pretty sure they will arrive in Sydney either around mid day or afternoon, but I don't see our chances of actually getting them delivered very big, and then because of the weekend, people won't touch and pack them before Monday which makes delivery Tuesday happen... annoyingly enough I happen to have the day off so could actually be home to meet the TNT guy... now not so much!

I ordered literally within 4 minutes of the online store coming back into play. It said ships by the 14th. I thought, fantastic, it will be shipped TO ME by the 14th. Funny how they have removed that little section now.... I'm really disappointment too, so many people have the phone now.

If the store got their iphones for 8am release today, why couldn't they have ours here too! ready for delivery?! grrrrr

if you look at E-invoice for your order, which you should have received by email you will see when it will really ship -by 26th of October!!!

and what did you say?

Normal number 133MAC was very polite, expressed disappointment that there communication wasn't clear in regards to delivery time, she acknologed the poor communication from apple, tried to tell me I should still be happy that I preordered early so I didn't have to wait I'm a queue today. I said that I would have still ordered it online anyway if they just said that it was going to be deliveries from next week. She assured me that apple isn't intentionally leaving Australian preorders until last, offered me a store voucher & said I should get it emailed to me within the next 24-48 hours.

I was more annoyed that they really lead everyone to believe it would be shipped to us for today, they could have just stated initially for deliveries from the 18/10, which they obviously knew, at the end of the day it's just a phone! But if I can get something for nothing I am gonna do it!

Ship by XX date has never meant "you will receive it on XX date".

Once again, hype and unrealistic expectations = bad press for Apple.

If you really really really wanted an iPhone 4S today, you should have queued up and got one today.

Preordering just means you are going to get it before anyone who orders it today. Preordering early just means you will get the iPhone before people who preordered late.

If having it today was so important to you, you shouldn't have been lazy and hoped that the "ships by 14th" was pessimistic. It did clearly say that because I preordered one for my wife and I knew that it was "maybe delivered Friday, if it's shipping from Australia if I'm really lucky" and "hopefully delivered on Monday otherwise". Now knowing it's coming from China I'm still hoping it'll arrive Monday if I'm lucky, but more likley Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm fairly sure that the last 2 product launches had similar ships by XX and delivery was 2-5 days after that XX date so this isn't exactly new.

apple_
14th October 2011, 11:44 AM
dracomjb.... I'm sorry but even apple said they expected them to arrive earlier so no one here is in the wrong. When I called, apple said that they expected them to come from within the Aus stock currently here... well they expected wrong because it's coming in from an "international warehouse"

It was meant to be here for the launch. It was advertised to be here for launch... It didn't say orders yours now and wait until we manage to get it in for you. I'm sure some people (not all) but some people may have reconsidered pre ordering if they got the invoice before you could cancel an order, not after. The options were all closed after that.

my two didn't "ship by 14th".
The order status is "preparing for shipment" and then "ship by 14th". It's the 14th and they haven't shipped.

Ship by 14th means to Ship before 14th, or ship on 13th at the latest. They missed it.
Optimistically, overnight shipping would have them arrive 14th, though they never said overnight or where they were shipping from.

I hate it when people play this card. I work a full time job to feed my young family and I don't have the luxury to miss my "shift" or uni lecture or wag school. Some of us don't even have an Apple store near us.

I fully understand the ships by the 14th but to then get an email from Apple saying that I will receive it on the 27th despite ordering before people who are slated to receive it on the 18th is just unacceptable.

I preordered based on my last good experience preordering the iPad 1 when I received in on launch day. After this debacle I will not be giving Apple a cent before I actually receive the product.

"Oh we got some in last night its just that we only get a very small amount and they will all be gone today and your name is 2nd on our list so we are just letting you know, do you want to come today?"

"Erg - Yup, I'll be there in a minute"

I received a phone call from an Apple Exec around lunch time who told me that if I could get one from an Apple Store, she would see what she could do, unfortunately, the local Apple Store was sold out. (They told me on the phone they had stock left, but when I got there literally 5 minutes later, the guy at the door told me all sold out. Was pretty pissed about being told differently on the phone).

Anyway, the Apple Exec said that she would try to hasten the delivery, so that it may be delivered sooner, but personally, knowing TNT I doubt that'd happen. =/

umm, I'm not a Professor of English, and Apple is American, so almost anything goes, but;

In this context by is a preposition, it means near or next to,
The car that drives by, doesn't hit you.
The house by the beach, isn't in the surf.
Shipping by 14th, isn't on the 14th.

Though perhaps I can accept that Apple have used it in the context of it "travelling by day". by the 14th, being on the 14th,
except it's 4.30pm and it appears many haven't, mine included, unless they meant the the 14th in California.

If I'm really honest I'm not really too upset, just blowing smoke. my 4 is still a sensational phone.
It's just I expect Apple to under promise and over deliver. If they say 14th, it should be 13th.

I'm with NeoRicen on this, by includes the quoted day. The definition of by (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/by) covers (amongst other things):

Close to, next to
Not later than

When someone talks about a car that drives by, or a house by the beach, they mean close to, next to. When someone talks about shipping by the 14th, they mean not later than. It's a different meaning of by. I've always assumed that by includes the given date, and the formal definition of the word seems to confirm that. And I assume most people think like me too... :)

Well just rang Apple Online and "as a gesture of goodwill" they will talk about compensation. The representative will personally call me to follow up my order next week and we then he'll discuss compensation. After calling and expressing my disappointment, motivated partly by the chance at receiving a discount (Apple are rich — if they are willing to give me $50, I'm not going to stop them!), I spoke to a rep who told me that she would personally track my shipment, and be calling me after she saw that it was delivered in order to arrange some sort of compensation. I can't remember the exact wording, but it was along those lines.

She assured me that my phone would reach me by Wednesday however, which is probably a generous estimate anyway. I am really expecting Monday, in accordance with the TNT transit times calculator.

14 Oct 2011 15:41:19 Hong Kong Shipment In Transit.
14 Oct 2011 04:07:15 Hong Kong Shipment Received At Transit Point.

I also wrote an email to Tim Cook to voice my displeasure:

Dear Mr. Cook,

I would like to firstly state that I have lined up at every iPhone launch day in Australia, with the exception of the latest iPhone 4S.

I am now regretting that decision as I had preordered the iPhone 4S directly from Apple Online Australia with the premise of it's delivery for the 14th October.

I found the online order status MISLEADING and unacceptable with the shipment time of the iPhone 4S.

I do not have documented proof, but it was my understanding from the online order status that by preordering the iPhone 4S on the 7th October that the item would be delivered by the 14th October.

With the rather smooth preordering system already in place for previous product launches why has many Australian iPhone 4S preorders have blown out to more than a week and in some cases by 2 weeks?

In my case, the shipment had only left China on the 14th October and won't be delivered till the 20th October at the very latest. I cannot begin to articulate how a preorder item a week BEFORE the product's launch be delivered a week AFTER the product's launch.

Can you personally tell me what is the incentive for ANYONE to preorder any of Apple's future product releases?

Can I be cynical and even PRESUME the only incentive is for Apple themselves, taking the FULL amount for the preordered item a week before launch day, knowing fully that they cannot fulfil the order.

Or is the other incentive is for the Apple stores and authorised retailers to manage the rather limited stock shipped to their stores as public demand has been fulfilled (and discounted) by those whom had already preordered the product? This utter ambivalence towards a loyal consumer cannot be tolerated.

The system must be fixed where it is only fair that preorder items be delivered on any product launch dates. I do not believe the delivery system (TNT) are to blame. If Apple can utilise TNT to distribute the limited stock of any new product to physical stores and authorised retailers BEFORE the product's launch date, then Apple can also dispatch the product the customers who have already PAID for the preordered product a WEEK before in order to have it delivered on time.

I found the entire experience utterly disappointing and will definitely not be preordering any more of Apple's future products.

I sincerely hope that if Apple plans on using preorders for any future products, that they rectify the backlog of orders and streamline the shipment and delivery process and honour those who've paid in full and preordered the item in good faith.

I thank you for your time and look forward to your response.

I found this thread yesterday whilst trying to find details on my new iPhone 4s delievery. I ordered my iPhone on 7th oct @ 7:02pm. Like alot of you I had "Ships by 14th October".. so far still "preparing for shipment".
I rang Apple this morning to be told (again like alot of you) that it would be leaving the warehouse today, where? China!

I know it never promised to be delievered by 14th, but come on, why pre-order then?

So, I rang my local JB Hi-Fi at 10:15am (they opened @ 10) and asked if they were selling them, dealt with the nicest lady who advised they aren't allowed to sell outright but are a telstra dealer. Lucky for me I am at the end of contract and could have bought outright or gone on new contract. So she asked if she could put one aside for me which i asked for 64gb white (as i had ordered).
went down there 3 hours later and signed, sealed and in my hot lil hands.
Rang Apple and complained and they advised that when the phone does arrive (she told me next week or week after) that i am to respond to an email she has sent me and she will organise a courier to pick the phone back up and then refund my money in full. so i'm out of pocket for a little bit but that's ok. At the end of the day I will pay $300+ for the phone on the $13 per month deal with telstra. Not too bad.

I'm thinking of everyone on here, I was absolutley guttered to hear my best mate walked in to a telstra shop and just picked one up without blinking an eye but us who pre-ordered are left waiting.

GOod luck everyone!!

Mine's in transit now too.

Still annoyed, but really can't bring myself to ring up and complain. I just don't care enough to make someone's day even slightly more difficult.

Also, has anyone, either here or someone you know or on a bother forum, received their iPhone that they preordered at Apple.com/au?

If no one has, I find that really remarkable.

NeoRicen, I scan a most of the major Aus tech sites, among those and my friends I don't believe ANY pre-orders have been filled in Australia.

Just sent a email of to Tim Cook as well, I think they may have forgotten about us down here. New Zealand isn't even part of the 2nd release on 26th October! They have NO iPhone 4s release date ATM.

this is so frustrating!

i ordered 2 iphone 4s as soon as the store came back online and the pre-orders opened.

a 16gb black for my mum and a 32gb white for myself.
my mum's shipped out yesterday and my white one has still been "preparing for shipment" since yesterday afternoon!

its already the end of the working day on the 14th oct, and the delivery time clearly said "ships by 14th oct"
of course i didnt expect to get it today, but i did expect to at least get a tracking number by now!

I want my iPhone4S too, but the website clearly stated that the order will be shipped by the 14th (not delivered by the 14th).

The definition of 'Ships' per the Apple Online Store is below.

'Shipping and delivery estimates
The 'Ships' timeframe is an estimate of when the item will prepare for shipment and ship from our warehouse. The items on your order will ship as they become available.'All estimates are based on business days.
http://store.storeimages.cdn-apple.com/1767/store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/help/totaltime072910.gif
Anyway, I want my iPhone too, but if you really had to have it today, you should have lined up like thousands of others who did today.

umm, I'm not a Professor of English, and Apple is American, so almost anything goes, but;

HAHAHA you know what, in my business I will advertise 50% off and when people commit to buy I will tell them, yes 50% off but next year.... so you will wait right? cos you committed? It's the same thing, deceiving that's what everyone's point is here. It was NOT CLEAR ENOUGH.

Anyway, who cares, we will wait, nothing you can do :)

Next time buy outright from a phone provider. I had a friend who bought outright from vodafone today. No waiting, could have pre ordered, walked in, walked out.

I want my iPhone4S too, but the website clearly stated that the order will be shipped by the 14th (not delivered by the 14th).

That's true but Apple generally adhere to an under promise over deliver philosophy with preorders, arranging for them to arrive the day of release. This dosen't always work but usually there are a good number of deliveries on the day, but none this time. US and European orders seem to be arriving on time, some have been arriving over the past couple of days. It's apparent that something has gone wrong with the Australian supply chain.

Well it's simple isn't it. I called today and was told they expected pre orders to be shipped out from Australian stock- the iphone 4s' that are already here. That is all the info I needed to know.

From a business point of view, think about it.... these people (us) have already committed and can't go back. There is so much demand in stores.... so why not distribute the Australian stock between the apple stores and the others (us) will have to wait. At least it's a sure sale. They used a ships by 14th, mind you-without the expected to arrive on 26th of October bit for first orders. So in conclusion, they have sold more iphones here to those that went in today and have us "loyal" customers waiting with once again sure sales as we have all committed.

My order seems to be stuck in "Preparing for Shipment", even though I ordered at 6:40 on the 7th!

Like a lot of you I have also emailed Tim Cook, my only other experience with pre-ordering was with the iPad 1, I ordered it, it arrived on the release date, as expected, like clockwork. So why is an iPhone any different? I think it's because the stock that should have gone to us, the loyal REPEAT customers, went to Telstra, Optus and Vodafone who would have all been leaning hard on Apple due to their short supply with previous releases. I know of several people who wandered into Telstra shops on a whim and walked out with brand new phones, even of one who simply rang Telstra and had the new phone within 2 hours, delivered (business customer).

I'm really disappointed with Apple's behaviour here, if the web site would let me, I'd cancel the order and go spend the $1K on something I actually need instead. I don't care what you say, this IS Apple's fault, they have one of the slickest ordering and dispatch processes in the world, this is not a "there's too much demand" situation. It has been a conscious decision by someone at Apple thinking they can squeeze a little extra cash out of it by disappointing their devoted customers.

Ok, I'm done ranting now. I'm going back to waiting. :)

To all the douche bags who keep saying "ships by" blah blah blah. The words have nothing to do with, in fact "ships by" means "by" not "on", so they kicked themselves in the nuts.
To those who say you should have lined up, what about us disabled people who can't line up, is it fair that we treated like second class customers, no it basically comes down to greed, some shirt in Apple seen a way of boosting the bottom line and getting a bonus or some bownie points with Cook,
So before you try and make sweeping statements , remember there are people out there that depend on online ordering, and being screwed over just makes being disabled worse.
Anyway rant over, those with phones enjoy, those still waiting you are in good company.

Yeah, I've gotta say, there's a lot of people trying to defend this whole operation by saying we should never have expected it on launch day. However, we've come to expect that - as I've said previously, I've pre-ordered the last 2 iPads and they BOTH arrived on launch day, as expected. If I was to pre-order a new release video game, for example, the reason for pre-ordering is to secure a copy for yourself for launch day.
Who knows whether this was actually a stuff up, or was planned all along. Given that the other countries are ceiling their preorders, as expected, one can only presume something isn't quite right.

Thoughts?

well this was my first pre-order so i wasn't sure what to expect, but I would have liked to receive it on the same day its made available to the rest of australia considering thats how its going down in other countries.
and it may have been silly of me to assume, but i thought a pre-order was to guarantee i get one with the rest of the crowd without having to wait since id done my camping on the site on pre-order launch day.
i mean whats the difference between pre-ordering and waiting for Apple stores to get their next shipment in a week?

The email confirmation for mine says the 20th, but with a little poking around the TNT site I can see that according to TNT's normal schedule, a 1 Kg package (over estimating) that is picked up on the 14th and 20:22 in Shenzhen (which is what the tracking info says), should arrive on the 17th for Express shipping, and the 18th for normal shipping.

After all the stressing out it looks like my phone might actually arrive 1 business day after release, which is perfectly reasonable considering we were only ever promised "Ships by the 14th".

For those wanting more tracking details, someone suggested using TNT.com then changing its location to Chinese English, so I did it and it shows that anyone that has Sydney transit it has cleared customers. It also shows it has been forwarded to Perth (or preparing to) this is my result.

Actually they didn't charge your card, it's called a pre-authorisation. They check your card has a sufficient available credit limit and the limit is reduced accordingly. If the transaction isn't finalised the bank will reverse the hold 1-5 days later giving you back your full credit limit.

Apple will charge you for the phone soon. They do them in batches to save on processing fees and they have millions of charges to process from the 4S launch, expect it to be done early in the week.

Are you sure, if you leave a note at the door with a signature and leave a phone number for them to call to get voice confirmation, that is more than enough for them to leave it your door as you have given them permission (specially over the phone I have used before). Mine is still in the plane... But was electronically lodged here, which means clear for customs already?!?

I am pretty sure I will have my baby on Monday..... Good on Apple for hurry things up... Although we should had them already...

Ahhh I'm out now! Of all days to be out..
I live in the eastern suburbs..hopefully I can get back on time!

Those on the 14:06 plane to Sydney, think we'll get ours by Monday?

Electronically lodged means it's submitted into the system ready for arrival from China. Unfortunately, it's still on the plane for you - or in customs.

I challenge everyone that got it today to ring/email apple & thank them. They didn't have to do this & it must be costing them a bit. Call the call centre, as those poor people have been getting the brunt of frustrations despite having no control over it. Trust me from someone who has been in there situation it will definetley make there day & even if all they did on Friday was past the infomation up the chain, it will certainly give them a sense of achievement. Hell ask Siri to dial the number for you!!

Call Centre person told me that it's mostly "personal addresses" which are getting theirs today in Sydney and Melbourne, but, alas, mine "looks like it will be tomorrow" ... I shall now tempt the fates and go out for coffee, which will immediately cause the TNT system to realise I am not at home and deliver it within minutes of my being out!

I'm pretty sure they are doing this only because we actually complained. Else, they wouldn't care.

I called them, and they said that I'll be getting mine tomorrow at the earliest. I mean, Newcastle is further away from Sydney than Melbourne right? /sarcasm

Update on mine:

16 Oct 2011 07:14:38 Melbourne Shipment Received At Destination Depot.
15 Oct 2011 17:29:14 Sydney Shipment In Transit.

Since I used my work address, it looks like mine will be delivered tomorrow during normal business hours! How exciting! If I do, then all our ranting was for nothing...
