I'm after a USB hub that can power an iPad off it's ports. Any such beast in existence?

Many cheap (non powered hubs) divvy up the 0.5A into 4 x 0.1A and I have had memory sticks that just wouldn't run.

A half decent hub can output 5 x 0.5A (which is USB spec).... having a hunt around for something like this hasn't turned up many options... in fact just one so far:

Targus*|*ACH81AU*–*Desktop USB 2.0 7-Port Hub with Audio Pass-Through (http://www.targus.com.au/product_details.asp?sku=ACH81AU)

This unit has 2 x 1A outputs + 5 x others (although I can't see if it says what their power output but can only assume they are 0.5A). So still not up to the 2A the wall charger provides but only just below the 1.1A your MBP (or iMac) will supply over USB.

Cheers dude - looks like the USB hub with the most juice :)
