I'm wanting to put the Oxford English Dictionary on a powerbook. Apparently Oxford never released a mac version so I am assuming I would need to run xp through virtual pc. Is there another way, or can anyone suggest a better emulation program than virtual pc. thanks

Matt, my Applications->Dictionary says that it's the Oxford AMERICAN Dictionaries, not the English version.

There is a variety of dictionaries available for mac from versiontracker. However, I have not found one comprehensive when compared with those available for Windows. I would be glad if anybody has any ideas where I can find a better dictionary for mac, especially those able to pronounce.

I've emailed Oxford University Press to enquire.

I access OED online through my university (ANU) library. I know that you can also access it throught the national library.
