Sounds serious...

I realise that if you're affected, you probably wouldn't be able to respond to this :) But perhaps you're at work or somewhere not Telstra'd. What a wonderful company.

Interestingly, AAPT seems to be offering 'substantial compensation'... weird...

let's hope that with $4bn in profits floating around somwhere, they can off their lard arses and fix the issues...!

i'm sure the techs are doing their best to resolve it, but 'management' should not be condoning huge profits whilst service/infrastructure sucks!!

it is serious.

I was wondering why JJJ wasn't streaming via my cube when i woke up this morning. :)

All seems fine now though.

I don't own anything telstra for that exact reason. My Home phone is Optus, my net is Optus Broadband (never had one dropout) and my mobile is with Vodafone. When Howard and his goons privatise Telstra, the the company will be ruined. The only reason they are going as well as they have been is that we are all shareholders (either directly or like the channel 2, indirectly)

Get used to the failures if Telstra does become privatised,

Paxton

Telstra - taking your money and making more for themselves.

Explains why things have been majorally slow lately.

Apparently Telstra employs more Sales staff than Tech staff and nearly as many Lawyers as Sales these days. No wonder you get the odd outage.
