I came across this a while ago, but the release notes didn't inspire me that much since it wasn't that stable, but now.....

it's fun and cool and all those kinds of things - but you need to have you iTunes 'album arted' to gain full benefit of this eye candy :)

I tried this a while back since i good portion of my collection has the cover added into itunes. Found it a little confusing especially when you have over 120gb of music

pipingfiend - have you posted your iTunes stats yet? You might beat the current high scores!

It's nice but it still doesn't display iTunes Music store covers and it isn't full screen...

What do you mean it doesn't do iTMS covers?

It bogged down my iBook with 95% CPU usage for about 5 minutes, now it seems fine. It's still a tad slow, but I'm running a 1680x1050 LCD dual-screen off my iBook. It's not surprising that the graphics is a tad slow.

I wish it had integration into iTunes somehow.... like it actually was IN iTunes.

That said, I like it. I have only about 10 albums without cover art, and am emotionally attached to the days of CDs. All my music is ripped from CDs.

It doesn't import all my itunes music that I have purchased online. It only shows my CD albums.

UPDATE: solution, change in the preferences "Album filters" to "---"

That is way cool!

An enhancement would be to include liner notes and other artwork.

Yeah, I've seen CoverTunes. I'm flattered, I guess... I know CoverFlow isn't ideal for everyone - in a lot of respects, it's only made for me. So there.

That said, here's a shiny new release (http://www.steelskies.com/download/CoverFlow1.990.dmg). There's now Dutch, French & Trad. Chinese localizations, along with a few minor bug fixes. I think you guys might enjoy the full-screen mode.

Words from the Author himself on Arstechnica forums full screen is back :D

I should probably also mention viewTunes (http://www.viewtunes.com/)

I had a look at viewtunes and did not like at all what I saw the interface is convoluted various artist albums are treated as many albums
