Do people seriously not know how to use Google these days?

If you google "etax 2010", it comes as the second link.

Yeah, it is a little sad that (a) it takes Google to find what should be apparent from going to the ATO website, and (b) IT'S STILL ONLY THE SECOND LINK. WTF?

There's a massive link on the front page of the ATO. It says 'lodge online using e-tax'. There's even a picture of a hand on a mouse. If you click it, there's a link saying 'download e-tax now'. Is it really that hard to see?

by which I mean, oops, I should really check out the site itself before bitching based on other people's comments.

Well, if we go off the second link on Google again... we get this. This 'second link on Google' thing is indeed interesting!

Erm, also, on that first page -

    Side bar menu options:

What do you want to do:
    Lodge your tax return
    Online: e-tax

Takes you to a page with:

    Getting started with e-tax

Which drops down an option to download e-tax.

    No Mac version of course.

Seemed pretty obvious to me, in fact, took me less time to find the download than to type this reply.
