Default [Split] What's better, Oporto or Nandos?

As Phase and I have learnt, the best way to sell Decryption on an idea is during an awesome Oporto meal.

It's what's not there that makes what's there what it is.

Ooh, Oporto, seriously awesome food. I'm interested to know if everyone thinks it's better or worse than Nando's, or if they're just different.

    Are you kidding?

Oporto is a fast food restraunt and Nandos is an actual restraunt.

That said, Oporto is so much better The two times that I've been to Nandos for dinner were terrible.

Inefficiently run fast food outlets are still fast food outlets. Nandos is no restaurant.

I quite like the Strip Roll from Oporto's - they fill it with lots of chilli. That said, I also like the peri peri sauce at Nandos. They put the bottle on the table and let you use all you want - I drown my chips in that stuff, it's awesome!

They both have tables, the both have chairs, you can sit down and eat.

Nando's in Australia on Collins is huge now compared to what it was, but they service is WOEFUL, they take forever to bring you your meal. They've made a huge restaurant but the kitchen appears to be woefully small and understaffed for the amount of clientele they have.

Oporto is just handy for a quick snack here and there.

Funny story... Oporto opened on Bridge Road, Richmond (in Melbourne). They were only open for a few months at most, and then mysteriously closed, and then not long after was replaced by a Nando's in the exact same spot!

Nandos, by a mile, for two reasons:

    - Extra Hot sauce
    - Many of them serve beer

Nandos is great, I can never get enough of the Peri Peri sauce.

Oporto is good, but I've had more shitty burgers from them then any other other fast food place. They need to fix up their chicken supplier.

Neither. Ogalo. Sydneysiders who know of it will agree. For those who don't know of it. Go and try it. Seriously.. shits all over Oporto AND Nandos.

Ogalo - it just tastes better
