Default Here we go again: Pocket God "offensive"

Why are people so quick to get offended at every little thing?

One of the most entertaining and mindless games, Pocket God, is being attacked as offensive and disgusting.

In absence of real news, the media is at a beat-up once again.

Hey cool. I didn't know about this game before people started complaining. It looks like fun, and I'm downloading it now.

Thanks, you gibbering retards, for alerting me to a fun game!

Edit: I suppose I'm offending the gibbering retard community with my comments. Huh.

comments come just one week after Apple was forced to apologise for selling an iPhone game that simulated shaking a baby to death.

unrelated, I'm offended by the colour #23fe40....I want it banned

Global financial crisis, swine flu, increasing arrival of asylum seekers, and the Times 100 hack - hardly any real news at all!

There's only so much you can hype up already hyped "disasters". In terms of the media once they get their teeth into something, especially if it distracts from their previous over-reporting, they'll expose it to death and then find new angles to expose it. This week, it's the App Store. Next week, it'll be back to supermarkets and wonder bras.

My guess is that this Pacific Women's Group is hoping for some compensation from Bolt Creative ... as well as to assert their dominance over something. The media is more than happy to help them out.

Like it matters, they're never going to see an iPhone anyway.

as I said on whirlpool - it's a bloody joke.

Do they want Flight control deleted as it might be upsetting to people who have been in, or lost friends or family in aircraft accidents?

Do animal activists want CatchaMouse removed as you are denying the mouse access to escape?

What about Koi Pond as it might be sensationalising the keeping of fish as pets?

I'm going to write an app called 'Bitch Slap'. You use gestures to slap people who whine incessantly, or wowzers who search the world for things to get offended by. The slapping would be varied and entertaining.

I would like use of the touchscreen disabled as it's offensive to lepers and amputees.
