I am only new to this but I think you need IOS4.3 to do this
So I have been trying to pair my iPhone 4 with my iPad 2 via Bluetooth, for no other reason than to show my friend the Tic Tac 'shake and share' app.
Anyway, it's comes up with a message saying 'pairing unsusessful, iPhone 4 not supported'
Anyone else having the same issues??

Yes, I also want to connect an Iphone4 with an Ipad2 with bluetooth, It didn;t work. I wanted to play a game (touch hockey), what's the solution
Thanks for the link![]()
I'm using an iPhone4 with a new ipad2 both on iOS 5.0.1 with no luck pairing. I keep trying but the personal hotspot just keeps twirling and then resets to calling AT&T customer service. Tried them and the gal said that my wifi on the phone IS my personal hotspot, but the iPad just keeps searching for Bluetooth devices.
Any other suggestions out there?
