Default Connecting iPad to Bose dock

Is it possible to get a cable to connect an iPad to a Bose dock that doesn't have an aux input? Does such a creature exist?

Also, would it play if it came from the Apple connection at bottom of iPad and not from the earphone jack?

Yes, the cable Dave links to is the go. Although I do notice that amazon won't ship it to Oz! I have one connecting the iPad to an iPod Hi-Fi.Another approach is a Bluetooth unit - Amazon.com: KOKKIA i10s (Luxurious White) Tiny Bluetooth iPod Transmitter for iPod/iPhone/iPad/iTouch with true Apple authentication. Remote controls and local iPod/iPhone/iPad volume control capabilities. Plug and Play, works and fits very well with. Again, you'd have to source it elsewhere.

This might help you: dockXtender: Dock Extender Cable for iPad, iPhone and iPod

I quickly checked and they ship to Australia!
