    Default Mac Twitter App

So i'm sick of waiting for Tweetie 2 for Mac and i'm not a Tweetdeck fan.

What's everyone else using, something which supports lists would be good?

ummm... I have Tweetie and Tweetdeck installed, haven't really felt the need to try something else. All the people I know on a Mac they are on one of those two, but I'd be interested in seeing some other recommendations too.

I like The Nambu Network | Twitter for OS X — was part of the beta program and it has come leaps and bounds.

    Nice dude!

I just made the switch from Tweetie Mac to Nambu, thanks to reading this post. Its a very nice app, kinda like Tweetie but, free and no ads!

That Nambu looks alright, might give it a go for a while.

Thanks for all the posts, i'm using Nambu till Tweetie 2 comes out at least, if not longer. I used it first ages ago then moved to Tweetie. But it's come along nicely since i first tried it, and now ahead of Tweetie IMO.

Twitterific is a very low quay app, so I'd consider it.
Echofon has a nice design with some ads. They're not ugly/disruptive ads.

I've been using Echofon for a while now, although not as polished as Tweetie, it does support lists and i nice and clean, so will do me just fine until Tweetie 2 for Mac lands. (Whenever that is)

    Thanks for the all suggestions

I settled on echofon to replace tweetie. Took a bit to adjust to it but love the functionality.

yep, echofon for Mac has a lot of features Tweetie doesn't (and now will probably never get - pity AND I paid for it too...)

    Cheers!

As far as I can tell, echofon doesn't support posterous (which is were I upload pictures/movies/audio etc.), which is why I'm sticking with Tweetie.

It doesn't have retweet, but I can survive of quote tweets (we have for so long anyway).

It doesn't have lists, but I don't use them anyway.
