    Default How to pay optus bill online?

    This might sound like a really studpid question - but can anyone tell me how to pay a optus bill online?

    Long story short they won't let me upgrade to the new iphone because the new direct debit I setup didn't go through!

    Spoke to them on the phone and the guy said there is nothing he can do.

    Anyway in vain hope I want to pay the bill online now and see if the system will reconise the payment immediately - but I can't figure out how to do it!

    Everytime I click 'Pay my bill' it says 'Please select an account for payment.' Thing is I only have one account up the top and its selected by default! What am I missing?

    i dont use the optus site to pay my bill but i have the bpay number linked in my commbank account online.. if u you online banking other than commbank there could be a way to pay through there.

    They don't make it easy or obvious - you should see a check box beside the account - to the right from memory you have to tick that as well to proceed - very clumsy website.

    I use BPay and pay with a credit card online through the NAB internet banking. The BPay details are printed on your bill (both online bills, and paper ones)

    Thanks. I ended up paying using the automated phone system. you think that they would make it eaiser for me to give them money! (no check boxed next to my account online?!?)

    Anyway I spoke to billing and they say it can take 48 hours to process the payment and until then no new iPhone for me

    Total bs as I accept credit cards from for my own business - the authorization is available immediately and the cash 24 hours later. Thats the whole point!

    Correct. That catches me every month. You think I would have worked it out by now :-)
