    Default Official Telstra iPhone 3GS Pricing

    <img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1783" title="telstra_logo" src="http://www.mactalk.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/telstra_logo.jpg" alt="telstra_logo" width="585" height="144" />

    Here are PDFs with rumoured official pricing for the iPhone 3GS. I'm pretty sure they'll be what we will see either Wednesday or Thursday, but of course, take it with a grain of salt until they're up on Telstra's website. MacTalk is merely the vessel for this information that entered my inbox.

    <a href="http://mactalk.com.au/decryption/Apple_iPhone_Phone_Plans_v_4_Eff_090626.pdf">PDF of Regular Wallet Pain Inducing Plans</a></h2>
    A table of outright pricing for the iPhone:

    <em>Thank you masked, encrypted and proxied Telstra or Telstra reseller employee, you are doing your fellow geeks a righteous deed disseminating this knowledge.</em>

    Calling it official is jumping the gun a bit then, no?

    Gives us a kind of idea for "wholesale" price to Telco's I imagine. 32Gb is $990 IF customer signs a plan for 24months, makes an outright 32 about 1200 by my reckoning, discounted to 1100 or there abouts

    $990 is what the reseller pays, $1042 is outright price.

    Now you know why they'd prefer to sell you a contract instead.

    OK... but does this actually imply that they will be selling Outright on the day? $1,042 I can live with.

    Hmmm.... yeah Daniel.... I suppose an added bonus with the Optus deal is you get a bit of phone use out of the SIM - even as a spare - for a hundred bucks more - and you know they will be selling them on the day.

    My thoughts as well, plus I can pop it in for weekend use etc / holidays etc for when I do not want to be annoyed by clients...

    I can't believe people are bitching about Optus's crap service and still wanting to stay with them, why not enjoy great coverage and speed and 850UMTS with Hellstra for a little more.

    If your going to be raped why not by Hellstra and not Optus?

    You only need to
    Two things, chasbois. You've never heard me bitch about Optus. I like their coverage (it's the only telco that works here at home) and 2. People are going to grab the $19 Optus Plan - unlock the phone and take it to another telco and use the $19 worth of calls as a bonus for 12 months.
