Thumbs down Lost my iPhone Backup - HELP!

I had my iPhone 3G running 2.2 FW, I would update and back it up regularly with iTunes 8.1.

Yesterday I upgraded to iTunes 8.2, and this morning I 'restored to 3.0' and it says that there are no backups of my iPhone saved on my computer..

As soon as I clicked restore I remembered I should have backed it up but it was too late, and I thought it would save a backup anyways when it restores..

Anyways, now I have a iPhone 3G with FW 3.0 but there is no backup saved on my computer (not with iTunes 8.2 anyways..)

Anything I can do to get all of my settings + apps + music + everything else back onto my iPhone? (I'm not so worried about my Music but mostly all my settings and messages)

    Cheers

I know, but what about settings + messages?.. (Contacts have been retained somehow. It must have backed them up before it Restored my iPhone..)

On itunes did you go to edit>preferences>devices to look for backups listed? There should be a list of older backups that you can restore to. You may lose a couple of days or so, but at least most of it will be there.
