Hi, just swapped from a BB Bold 9700 to an iPhone 4.
Just getting used to the lack of a profile App (cannot JB the phone as my employer checks that)
I will have the phone on the bedside stand and also use it as my alarm clock.
Want to receive phone calls but do not want my relentless work emails to sound chimes throughout the night.
Do I go to Settings, Mail Contacts Calendars, Fetch New Data, and turn off PUSH?
Will that do it?
Turn off push and below that set Fetch to Manually.
Or better still, go Settings>Sounds and turn off the "New Mail" sound.
