    Default Cannot send email from Iphone - Hotmail account

    Hello all!

    I need some help. I have Hotmail set up on my Iphone. I receive messages just fine. However, I just tried to send an email and I got this error message: Cannot Send Mail The user name or password for "SMTP:---@hotmail.com@smtp.live.com" is incorrect.

    I am not very tech savvy and have no idea what this means or how to correct it. Please help.

    Well theres you problem.


    It should look like this...


    Just replace your Host name from the one shown to smtp.live.com or mail.live.com etc etc

    Did this fix your problem?

    I have had issues with hotmail recently too, not only on my iPhone, but on my MacBook as well... and setting up the account again didn't fix it...
