    Default Traveler USB Microscope from Aldi - Mac Driver?

    My granddaughter was given a Traveler USB microscope from an Aldi store. It comes with WIndows software, and we cannot track down Mac drivers. Her Mac can see it (it is listed in System Profiler as AVEO Cheetah3 USB2.0 Device), but we cannot access it.
    We rang the Support helpline, but they were no help.
    A web search garnered no useful information.
    Can anyone help?

    Short of running the device under Windows, I really feel you're out of luck.

    Try downloading Macam, which supports hundreds of cameras not natively supported by OS X.

    macam : USB webcam support for Mac OS X
    pie and sauce with no remorse
