    Default Ram for G4 iBook

So I've got a couple of 1GB sticks leftover from the Macbook.
Could I stick one in my old G4 iBook 800? It's got 640mb in there at the mo.
What's the worst that could happen?

You'll have to try your best to make it fit, because it bloody won't without a hammer!

Your iBook takes 200-pin DDR1 RAM, and the Intel 'books also take 200-pin RAM but DDR2 standard; ie. they are not electrically compatible and will release special magic smoke out of your iBook if forced in.

Yep! It won't physically fit, and wouldn't work if it did.
