Discussion & troubleshooting on MacBook and MacBook Pro, iBook and PowerBook. Maybe the Duo if you're stuck in the past.
Sadly, arranged to return my new Macbook to Apple this morning with a dead pixel in the middle of my screen (such an annoying spot). Otherwise a great machine.
Leopard is a pleasure to use, though not convinced by Stacks. Time Machine provided a useful way to back up my harddrive to our iMac while waiting to replace the Macbook in the next couple of weeks.
Cheers.
I'd be interested to know if they will replace it. My last iMac had a stuck pixel right in the middle of the screen and Apple refused to do anything about it.
Let us know how you go...

Thanks for the interest.
Actually, I requested to return the item as provided for under Apple's Terms & Conditions. I will repurchase another computer once I have my refund. It seems Apple do not have a choice but to accept a returned item if the buyer is not satisfied, seeing as I only received the Macbook on Wednesday.
Cheers

yuppo - definitely entitled to a refund or replacement within a reasonable time frame for any issue.
If the product wasnt' as expected (i.e. flawless) you can return it.
What if you did trippy pixel-by-pixel crypto stuff?
stand up for yourselves, people!
