Apple Announces Australian iPad Date and Pricing

Finally, Apple has told us how much the iPad will cost in Australia and when we can have it.

May 28th (a Friday), will be the day you can get your hands on an iPad from Apple retail store, online and “select” resellers (we do not know which resellers will have stock). Australian iPad pricing is like so:

Wi-Fi
16GB: $629
32GB: $759
64GB: $879

Wi-Fi + 3G
16GB: $799
32GB: $928
64GB: $1049

Don’t forget to pre-order from the Apple online store and the Apple retail store on May 10th! We’ll keep you informed of any other shops doing pre-orders. There’s no info on telco plans for the iPad, I presume those will come shortly.
