Last week we reported that 3’s launch day will be July 17th;

Today, repeated calls to 3’s callcentres all provide the same story: pricing will not be available until the phones are on the shelf, next Friday.  This is different from the previous responses of “we don’t know” or “sometime next week”.  This would lead us to believe an internal bulletin has been provided to staff with details of the projected pricing release date.

There will also be no preorders. So it looks like first in best dressed. As for stock levels and handset availability, we’re not sure at this stage. The extra 10 day wait probably won’t influence those who are already hanging out for the device, but we’re just that nice, we thought you should know.
