The other news right now is that the iPhone 3G S hit our Atlantic cousins with a relatively sedate bang. Everyone managed to get one and overall, people are happy with them. Again, run over to any goddamn Apple or tech related website for anything you could ever want to know about the launch. Woz wanted to get a 3G S on launch day, so he went to his local Apple store and asked the dude at the front if he can go first, because he’s Woz, or busy, or something. Coolest thing was that the guy who was 2nd got his iPhone signed by Woz. So he has an iPhone 3G S Woz. Like the Apple II GS Woz. Niiiiice.
Camcorder Reviews takes an interesting step and reviews the 3G S purely on a video recording device stance. I’m pretty content with myself that I didn’t give in an buy a Flip camera now.

Manomio made a pretty sweet Commodore 64 emulator for the iPhone. Unfortunately, it’s not up on the App Store because the App Store rules specifically say no emulators. Damn.
Safari got a big kick in the bum as part of iPhone OS 3.0 – it can now use GPS info. Flickr took this feature and made their mobile website detect where you are and show you photos taken in the area. How cool is that?
