I have one of these also and it works fine with Mac's etc. Just one question, did you go into the settings and change your password from the supplied key? If not, try a reset by taking of the cover and using a paperclip to reset the unit to its default settings, and try the provided password.

thanks but i have tried all of this, i didn't change any passwords and it is the correct password it works on my ipod and my fiances computer, just not on mine i thought i might have had a setting wrong somewhere. cheers for the help.

It looks like it may the way you have your airport configured in that case. Perhaps have a look at what channel you have the connection set to and compare that to your fiances computer

it could also be using the wrong security. from memory it uses wpa
