    Question Partitioning ipod classic

    hello all,

    I have a ipod classic 80gb and is currently formatted for a mac. What i want to do is keep the mac partition and add on a fat32 partition so i can save my files on to it at school.
    Currently iam in the disk utility window and have opened up the partitioning section for the ipod. I have added a second partition on to it however it has no option for a windows format.

    Just format the whole iPod as FAT32.

    you could try.

    Formatting both partitions as Mac OS X Extended (Journaled) then format the other one as fat32 later.

    You will have fun seing as there are more than 2 partitions ont here, no idea if that will work at all to be honest.

    EDIT: You need to change the partition scheme, ehich you can't on the clasic, you are out of luck mate.

    just tried, doesn't work since iam using it with a mac it insists in reformatting it
