With the world clocks... how do you lock the location you set? I had a couple set up for where my family is around the world. But it seems that if I shut the mac down and start up again, they all set to the same place??

Just got my air, just working on the dashboard, and getting it to the way I wish it to be. Any guesses where I am from?

Mine's just a shit load of sticky notes and a calculator. Find Dashboard kinda useless apart from taking quick notes IMO.

I just use it to monitor everything... as you can see. I think the iPhone killed dashboard. I'm surprised the dashboard made it into Lion.

Do people still use Dashboard frequently? personally I still use notes, 3 or 4 open usually and then the iStat widget for stats, as well as a widget called colour mod which allows you to pick a colour and get the hex, rgb values, etc or visa versa. Not to mention the fan-boy cupertino clock to keep an eye on the time when the Apple Store goes down.

I don't use mine like I did back in Leopard's heyday that's for sure. Right now I only have three things on it and they're strategically placed so that when I'm not using my external monitor they still sit properly on the 13" screen of my Macbook Pro.

What I've got is the GarageSale widget for any eBay auctions I might be running, and two Safari webclips to the freebies sections on Veer.com and iStockPhoto.com so I remember to get them.

I see you are using dashboard as a space/full-screen app or whatever you want to call it. I tried that and didn't like it one bit because I found myself going too far when swiping back to my desktop from a full-screen app.

I used to do that a fair bit, but I've mastered the technique now

You need to upload your image to a hosting service first and then link to it from there. PM me if you need a hand.

Thanks for the help, I've never posted an image and forgot that you had to have on a hosting service.
